Luego de ser la más nominada para la gala de cine independiente británico, se consagró con las dos estatuillas principales, marcando su prometedor paso por esta temporada de premios.

Blue Jean se lleva cuatro estatuillas en total en los BIFA 2022

Este pasado 4 de diciembre se realizaron los 25° British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) para premiar a los mejores representantes del cine británico en las diversas categorías. El año pasado, la gran ganadora fue After Love con 6 estatuillas y en este, Aftersun se queda con 7 (Mejor Película, Dirección, Guion, Dirección Debut, Fotografía, Edición y Supervisión Musical) de las 16 nominaciones. En el apartado interpretativo, Rosy McEwen y Kerrie Hayes de Blue Jean fueron las reconocidas. The Worst Person in the World fue la mejor película internacional.
